Halloween Fun

Wow what an experience, Halloween on Diamond Drive. For those of you that don't know Diamond Drive in Kimberly gets hit hard at Halloween. We got our 1st trick-or-treaters at 4 p.m. By the time we left for the park at 5 p.m. we had went through 3 bags of candy. After we got back from the park and were waiting for Kenzie and her family, which was only 10 minutes, we went through 1 more bag of candy and had to dig into the girls candy they just got at the park. We first started our adventure by going to the Kimberly Park and Trunk-or-Treating the area businesses that were there. After that we went trick-or-treating around Diamond Drive with Jose, Kenzie and their kids. Then we got the heck out of our neighborhood and went and seen Grandma Jenny, Grandma & Grandpa King, and Grandma & Grandpa Stanger.

Peytons 1st Birthday

Hard to believe that my baby is 1 already. She had a wonderful birthday party with the family. She has so many new toys to play with she doesn't know what to play with first. I gave her her own cake. She ate all the frosting off it then was done with it.

Pumpkin Patch

This year I took Ash and Peyton to the Pumpkin Patch in Paul. Ash was on a mission to find a pumpkin that would fit in her pumpkin purse (a.k.a her $.96 trick-or-treat pumpkin container from Walmart). She was so excited when she could fit 4 little pumpkins in it. I had to get a picture of this one pumpkin. It is taller than Peyton when she sits. We left it in the field for someone else.

Climbing On Anything and Everything

Peyton is climbing up on anything and everything. I was putting away dishes and turned back around and found Pey on the door to the dishwasher. She just looked at me and smiled. At least the door was clean and not dirty.

Driving Range With Dad

After work Adam decided to go to the driving range. Ash had to take her clubs and hit like dad. It took both of us to get her feet lined up. Then I got smart, and put two tees in the ground and told her to line up her toes with the tees. After that she was able to put her ball on the tee, line up her toes and hit. A couple of times she was able to drive the ball 10-15 feet. Not bad for being 3 and her first on the driving range.

2009 County Fair

The Fair is here again. This year we had 2 little ones to enjoy it with. They both had a blast and loved the rides. Poor Peyton almost didn't get to ride. I didn't remember shoes or even socks, so they wouldn't let her ride. Then I had an idea. I made Adam take off his ankle socks and then we put them on Peyton and tied a knot in the back of them. After that she was able to ride the rides.

Bowling For Patricks Birthday

For Patrick's birthday we went bowling. It was the first time Ash bowled. She was so cute in her little bowling shoes. The first game she bowled an 87 with my help. The second game she bowled an 86 all by her self. She even got a spare. Thanks Patrick for inviting us.

Palisades-Lake Tahoe

Sunday my in-laws called and invited us up to Palisades to camp with them and Matt and Kerstin. So we loaded up the Tahoe and left. The next day us girls and the kids headed to Jackson Hole while the guys fished. Call us crazy. 3 women with 2 3-year olds and a baby going on a 2 hour round trip drive. Ash and Ryan had to touch the stuffed Buffalo. They look so small next to it. We then returned to Palisades so the kids could fish. That lasted about 2 minutes with the two of them. Then Ryan got in the water, so Ash had to. Ryan took his shirt off, so of course Ash had to take hers off too. The next day Ash, Adam, and Tracy fished again. If we would of let her, she would of fished there all day. She enjoyed her alone time with her dad and grandpa.

Box-Cars

One day after buying diapers and wipes Ashlee decided that the diaper box was the perfect size for her, and the wipes box was perfect size for Pey. So for 2 weeks we used the boxes as cars. The girls loved riding in the boxes. Finally I threw away the boxes because they were beyond repair. Duct tape wouldn't even hold them together any more.

Cooking

When I shower I put Peyton in the toy room with Ash and shut the door, so she isn't roaming all through the house. This is what I saw after I got out of the shower. It was co cute. Ashlee would pretend to make some food for Peyton. As Ash would give Peyton her food, Peyton would hand Ashlee a piece of food also.

Trying to Crawl

Peyton is trying to crawl but gets mad because she goes backwards. So now she goes to her toes and tries to crawl on her toes. But as you can imagine she ends up nose diving onto the floor and getting really upset then.

Sleep with Me Daddy

One night Ash wanted daddy to lay with her until she fell asleep. So he did. 45 minutes later I went in to check on them. They looked so cute snuggled in her twin bed, so I had to get my camera and take their picture.

Star Falls

This video is not as cool as seeing it in person. I apologize for the color. The water, sun, mist and my camera didn't cooperate together. You can hear Tracy and Adam talking, sorry.

Star Falls

Sunday Adam decided that we should go to Star Falls. So we loaded up the family and went. It was awesome. It is hard to believe it is flowing like this In July. The last time I remember it flowing like this was March 2006. If you get a chance I would recommend going and seeing it.

Riding The Tube

Ashlee hates the water. When I wash her hair I have to put a towel on her forehead so the water doesn't get in her face. If she splashes water in her face se screams until we wipe it off. So you can imagine how surprised Adam and I were when Trevor's boat pulls up to the dock and here is Ashlee riding on the tube. Adam and I were both on land. When they left the dock she was riding in the boat with Hannah and some other adults.

Stanger Family Reunion

We just recently had the L. Ray Stanger Family Reunion at the lake. There ended up being over 85 people there. Everyone had a blast. The kids blew bubbles, played horseshoes, rode on the boat and tubes, and always found some sucker to fill up water balloons for them.

The Boise Zoo

For the past two years we have taken Ash to the Hogle Zoo, in Utah. This year we didn't know if Adam would be able to take off or not. We since it rained the whole month of June we were able to take a trip. We decided to go to the Boise Zoo this year. The kids loved the zoo. I didn't think it was as great as the Hogle Zoo, but it was something different. Peyton of course loved the birds. She could of sat there all day and laughed at them. I don't know what her fascination with birds is. After the zoo Adam and Ashlee took a paddle boat ride around Julia Davis Park. Ashlee loved it. They rented the paddle boat for 30 minutes. Poor Adam was tired and returned 15 minutes later.

Princesses

One morning Ashlee decided that her and Peyton needed to dress up like Princesses.

Bird Watching

We went to my mom's house and she has a bird. Ash wanted to see the bird so my mom took Ash and Peyton over to see the bird. Peyton thought the bird was so funny. We all laughed at the way Peyton was acting. She was cute.

Ashlee's Gymnastics

This year I decided to enroll Ash in gymnastics. She is so cute. At first I had to help her do everything because she was only two. It was difficult because at the beginning of the year I was pregnant. Then I had to help Ash flip over the bar, lift her up to the bar, etc. while I was holding Peyton. Peyton never wanted to nap during gymnastics like I hoped she would of. Now that she is 3 I just sit in the chairs and watch. It is so much easier on me.

Easter

Ashlee had fun this Easter. She loved the egg hunt at the school and at Grandma and Grandpa Stangers. If she had her way we would of dyed eggs for weeks. everyday she wanted to color eggs. The Easter bunny brought her a T-Ball set with a pink bat and glove, and a purple ball. Poor Peyton got dressed in bunny ears by Aunt Kenzie. Peyton was not impressed.

Ashlee's 3rd Birthday

Hard to believe that Ashlee is already 3 years old. She had a wonderful birthday and of course received a ton of new toys.

Sisters Forever

Tubing

In January Adam and Ashlee went tubing with Matt, Kerstin, and Ryan. I decided it was to cold for Peyton so we went shopping. Ashlee loved tubing. At first she told Adam to go slower, but then gave up, because there was no way to make it go slower. Every time it snows she wants to go tubing again.

Christmas

Ashlee loved Christmas this year. She had twice as many presents this year.(She didn't understand or refused to believe that some of the presents under the tree were for Peyton.) Having children makes you change your ways. For example my birthday is December 27th and I have never had a Christmas tree up for my birthday. Until this year. I didn't have the heart or time (with 2 kids) to take it down before my birthday.
