Playing in the Snow

Ashlee was so excited when it finally snowed in December. As you can tell from the picture there is very little snow, but she had a blast playing in it. She would carry the snow from one place to another. We even had to get her car out so she could drive in the snow.

Peyton The Penguin & Ashlee The Elephant

This year we had the joy of dressing up 2 children. Peyton was only 3 days old. It was raining and cold so we left Peyton with Grandpa and Grandma Stanger while we took Ashlee to Trunk-Or-Treat.

Peyton Ann Stanger

Peyton Ann Stanger was born Tuesday October 28th, 2008. I was 4 days over due so they induced me Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. and she was born at 12:46 p.m. She was 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. I chickened out this time and went for an epidural (Best idea I ever had). I do not know how I went natural the first time.

Big Sister Ashlee

We were afraid that Ashlee would compete for our attention and be extremely jealous. But she is the complete opposite. When she is around no one else can hold Peyton, not even mom or dad. Ashlee cries when I feed Peyton because she wants to hold her. Ashlee is little miss mother to Peyton. The first thing Ashlee said this morning when she woke up was "Where is my Peyton? I need to hold her."

Pregnant Sisters

In September we went to Idaho Falls for my nieces 2nd birthday. Since my sister Tiff and I are both pregnant my mom insisted that we stand belly to belly. In the picture I am about 8 months pregnant with a girl and Tiff is about 5 1/2 months pregnant with a boy. They are great-grand kids #27 and # 28 for Grandma and Grandpa King.

Ashlee's 2 Year Pictures

I am only a little bit late getting Ashlee's 2 year picture posted. She is only 2 1/2 right now, so I am not that far behind. She loved getting her pictures taken. She would have to see the picture we just took before she would pose for the next one. Thank heavens for digital cameras so we can see the pictures.

My Best Friend We; My Cousin and Me

A few days ago Kerstin needed a babysitter so Ryan came over to play for the afternoon. They were being good and quiet so I went downstairs to see what was up. I ran (okay waddled) back upstairs to grab the camera so I could take pictures of this. I knew Matt would be so happy to hear what his son was playing with and to show him pictures would be even better. This entertained them for a while. They were being good so I figured why stop it.

Fair 2008

This years fair wa
s unforgettable. On the way to the fair I got the stomach flu.We were 5 miles away so I told Adam just to keep going. Well we should of went home. I managed to make it for 4 hours. Adam got Ash on and off the rides, while I just stood there. On the way home we got just outside of Kimberly and Ashlee got the stomach flu. She was cute but sick. At first when she burped and Adam and I turned around and looked at her and she said "I wait till we get home." Then she threw up all over herself and the car. Adam wanted to kill me right then and there, because someone was throwing up coming and going to the fair.

This year Ashlee loved the rides at the fair. This year we went to the fair two different days. (No one got sick the second day!) Last year she screamed and cried when we put her on the rides. This time she screamed and cried when she had to get off. She wanted to ride the Farris Wheel but neither mom nor dad would take her.

Ashlee loved to feed the animals at the petting zoo. At first she did not know what to think of them eating out of her hand. Then she figured out it was okay and loved feeding them. She had to make sure she feed everyone in the pen. No one was allowed seconds. If they tried for seconds she would get mad and pull her hand away and tell them no.

Ashlee's 2nd Birthday

It is hard to believe that Ashlee is 2 years old already. It seems like just yesterday she was entering into this world. Now there is never a dull moment with her around.
