One night Ash wanted daddy to lay with her until she fell asleep. So he did. 45 minutes later I went in to check on them. They looked so cute snuggled in her twin bed, so I had to get my camera and take their picture.
This video is not as cool as seeing it in person. I apologize for the color. The water, sun, mist and my camera didn't cooperate together. You can hear Tracy and Adam talking, sorry.
Sunday Adam decided that we should go to Star Falls. So we loaded up the family and went. It was awesome. It is hard to believe it is flowing like this In July. The last time I remember it flowing like this was March 2006. If you get a chance I would recommend going and seeing it.
Ashlee hates the water. When I wash her hair I have to put a towel on her forehead so the water doesn't get in her face. If she splashes water in her face se screams until we wipe it off. So you can imagine how surprised Adam and I were when Trevor's boat pulls up to the dock and here is Ashlee riding on the tube. Adam and I were both on land. When they left the dock she was riding in the boat with Hannah and some other adults.
We just recently had the L. Ray Stanger Family Reunion at the lake. There ended up being over 85 people there. Everyone had a blast. The kids blew bubbles, played horseshoes, rode on the boat and tubes, and always found some sucker to fill up water balloons for them.
For the past two years we have taken Ash to the Hogle Zoo, in Utah. This year we didn't know if Adam would be able to take off or not. We since it rained the whole month of June we were able to take a trip. We decided to go to the Boise Zoo this year. The kids loved the zoo. I didn't think it was as great as the Hogle Zoo, but it was something different. Peyton of course loved the birds. She could of sat there all day and laughed at them. I don't know what her fascination with birds is. After the zoo Adam and Ashlee took a paddle boat ride around Julia Davis Park. Ashlee loved it. They rented the paddle boat for 30 minutes. Poor Adam was tired and returned 15 minutes later.
Adam and I were married on November 12, 2004. In March 2006 we were blessed with our first child, Ashlee. Then in October 2008 we had our second girl, Peyton. Shortly after that we bought our house in Kimberly. I'm a stay at home mom. Between taking kids to gymnastics and preschool, teaching preschool, and playing co-ed volleyball I stay plently busy.
